The SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Antigen Rapid Detection Kit (Lateral Flow Method) is applicable to the qualitative detection novel Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) Nucleocapsid protein in population Nasal swabs samples in vitro. 

It is intended as an aid in the diagnosis of coronavirus infection disease (COVID-19) for symptomatic patients within 7 days after onset of symptoms, which is caused by SARS-CoV-2. 

For in vitro diagnostic use only. For self-testing use. 

This test is intended for home use with self-collected nasal swab samples in individuals aged 18 and older. 

Sampling from anyone under the age of 18 should be performed under the guidance of an adult. 

People who are unable to carry out the test on their own should seek support.

detection principle and method

PRINCIPLE

The novel Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) Antigen in population swabs samples is qualitatively detected by Lateral Flow Method. After blending population swabs, the novel Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) Antigen in the sample to be tested is combined with the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) antibody labeled with latex microspheres on the binding pad to form SARS-CoV-2 Antigen-SARS-CoV-2 antibody-latex microspheres complex. Because of the effect of the capillarity, the SARS-CoV-2 Antigen-SARS-CoV-2 antibody-latex microspheres complex diffuses along the nitrocellulose’s membrane. Within the detection line area, the SARS-CoV-2 Antigen-antibody complex binds to the antibody enclosed within the detection line area, showing a purple-red band. latex microspheres labeled SARS-CoV-2 antibody diffused to the quality control line (C) region and is captured by Chicken IgY to form red bands. When the reaction is over, the results can be judged by visual observation.
